Cyber Essentials Requirements
What's the fundamental requirements of the Cyber Essentials certificate?
Cyber Protection.
Devices connected to the internet must be protected by a firewall, and individual devices - computers, servers and phones - need to be protected against malware through antivirus.
Vulnerability & Patch Management.
Devices and software must be updated regularly to avoid being exposed to vulnerabilities. You need to have a policy in place for applying patches.
Secure Configuration.
User accounts should only have access to software settings needed to perform the role intended. Multi Factor Authentication must be used where possible.
